The will only accept payment at a site that came up as non-secure. Any attempt at communication gets you a form email telling you to go to their payment site. Sent them several asking for a phone to call in my credit card.....no response other than form letter.....then get an unpaid item strike from ebay...in an unusually quick response from them.....which brings me to another subject: Isn't It Time to leave ebay???? Ebay has apparently come to the conclusion that it's SH*T smells like roses. First there was the purchase of paypal and the death of bidpay or whatever ebay's service was.....SO now it takes us much longer to get our money...have to deal with customer service people that don't have a clue as to what they are doing, etc. I had hoped that some of the then ebay culture would gentle them.....but alas the culture transfer appears to be going the other way. Then EBay decided to radically increase fees first at paypal, then at ebay. The ebay increase appears to have been due to the inability of ebay to manage itself. With increasing revenue they were unable to contain costs to the point of where their profits rose in a corresponding manner. Then the latest insult....Matt Halprin announces they are going to start penalizing power sellers for minor violations of ebay listing rules. Such things as keyword spamming...you know those listings where the title includes "NOT" and lists several better know brand names....or for that matter including in your listing the fact that you have so and so other equipment being listed this week...... Well this was the final straw....wrote power seller support and resigned my Power seller status. Any of you who are at the lower levels (bronze, silver, and to a certain extent gold) know that being a power seller is about like getting a new title at your job....it doesnt mean anything, doesnt gain you anything...it just looks nice. Oh they tell you that you get priority email support....try it and you get dumped in the same queue with about the same response as any other first time yahoo... Last but not least is ebays unpaid item/ final value fee credit process....unless you are above a gold power seller...I think ebay largely ignores your filings. I ahev two that the customer acknowledges he never paid....and they fail to grant me the FVF credit. So Vote with your mouse....move to another auction site...there are many out there and several that are much more customer centric than ebay. On that certainly deserves mention is LabX.com for laboratory and medical equipment.....on the average you get to your targeted audience and they pay 2-3 times what they would pay on ebay. And you dont have to put up with a lot of the BS that you do in the ebay realm
BAD EBAY BUYER mrs.texas Juanita Flores Beware of GovLiquidation.com Based upon the following picture and a description saying that the product was in good enough shape to ship directly to a customer I purchased a Panasonic AG-A800 from the Jacksonville office of Government Liquidation. (actual ad is HERE). It is missing one of the keycaps. Complained and they said oh well.....you didn't inspect it... your fault. OK...no problem. BUT THEY TOOK THE PICTURE FROM THE ONLY POINT OF VIEW THAT WOULD HIDE THE FACT THAT IT IS MISSING THIS BUTTON! TO ME THAT IS FRAUD!

Being an active Ebay seller, and appreciating immediate payment I sent the money immediately through PALPAL as shown below:
Then I get an email on April 15th threatening me with bad feedback and being reported as a nonpaying bidder. Sent them several emails. Finally complained to PayPal....and that got results. Email saying it would ship within a day...but dont delete your email. No apology or anything. And still a total silence from them about acknowledging it is their error. If you want to email them to hear their side of the story (lots of luck getting a response) their address is here All in all....I dont like being treated like this.... I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN....and I hope you won't either. since their phone is impossible to come by....courtesy of another that had problems with them: 412-349-0079 during 9-5 EST M-F RESPONSE AFTER POSTING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: SUBJECT : LIBEL? I recently noticed your feedback on ebay, along with your website. Your state that we are a “FRAUD”. This is simply untrue. How many frauds do you know that have over 5500 positive feedbacks and counting? As you can see from your paypal payment, you sent an echeck. These take time to clear, and we cannot ship them out until they clear our bank! That is why your unit did not ship out until today. As for the email you received today, you will notice that in the email it clearly states “that if you have received this email in error, please disregard.” We included this statement, because we are using a new system and it is possible that we can make mistakes. I think your website is a great idea, but I ask that you be fair to us and post this email. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Joe Schmidtke To WHICH I RESPOND echecks do take 3 days to clear to the merchant account...that was seven days ago....but he was notified by paypal both originally when the payment was made and when it cleared...and he still sent the threatening letter claiming i had not paid and that he would report me as a nonpaying bidder and negative feedback....nuff said. I hope these assholes learn something about customer service. also from the wording of his message...sounds like they are trying to hold the money an extra period of time after it is in his PayPal Account. Finally got my Projector......very pooly packed....just plain dumb luck it made it in one piece.
